Rain!

A lot of rain this morning, so it looks as though the thaw has started, and the garden is starting to emerge from beneath the snow.

Yet more snow

We had another fall of snow this morning, but a thaw set in this afternoon. The forecast is for temperatures to return to normal over the next couple of days.

Cold spell continues

There was a slight thaw yesterday, but last night we had a further inch of snow. The slow thaw continued today, but more snow is forecast for tomorrow night.

Cold weather continues

This is apparently the longest cold spell for at least 20 years, and the freezing weather is expected to continue for the next week.
