Winter arrives

Winter has finally arrived - we have had frosty mornings for the past 3 days, and today the frost lasted all day on the shady parts of the lawn.

Cold weather continues

This is apparently the longest cold spell for at least 20 years, and the freezing weather is expected to continue for the next week.
