I potted up 3 capsicum seedlings.

Primrose seed sown

Today I sowed some of the primrose seed that I collected last autumn. I didn't separate the seeds from different coloured plants last year, so this could be a mix of colours.

Mini greenhouse

I bought this mini greenhouse from Wilkinsons a few weeks ago for £12.00, but I think the price was subsequently reduced by 20%. As the weather is nice today I assembled it for the first time. I put the antirrhinum and capsicum seedlings in it, but will take them in tonight to be on the safe side.

Tom seed sown

I sowed the tom seed today - 6 each of Gardener's Delight, Marmande and Moneymaker.  I used seed from the packets I bought last year.

Spuds bought

This year I bought a spud variety that I haven't used before - rocket. I got a 3kg bag of seed potatoes from Wilkinsons, labelled at £2.98 but there was a 60p discount.

Last year I got a 2.5kg bag of seed potatoes from the garden centre and I think they were more expensive that the rockets I bought today.

Primrose update

The majority of the primroses grown from seed sown last July have not yet flowered (the three pots at the back in the picture above contain plants grown from seed in 2009, those in front are from seed sown last July). However, there are 3 plants from last July's sowing that are flowering, the pink one that I posted about here, and the two plants in the first pic above, which appear to be forming yellow flowers. Unfortunately I don't know which colour plants were the source of the seeds that generated these flowers.
