Cyclamen update

New flowers seem to be developing on a couple of the cyclamens.

Winter arrives

Winter has finally arrived - we have had frosty mornings for the past 3 days, and today the frost lasted all day on the shady parts of the lawn.

Survivor

This strawberry plant resulted from a runner that crept into the lawn bed before I dug up all the strawbs last year.  This plant itself sent out a runner which has also generated a further plant.  I'll probably move them and grow them on later in the year.

Primrose update

The primroses seem to be flowering rather more than is usual at this time of year.  I think the mild autumn/winter has upset their usual flowering cycle.
