Planted these in the old greenhouse bed.

Spinach sown

The spinach plants I grew then planted out last autumn haven't done very well, in fact most of them died as a result of the heavy rain in December.

I have therefore sown some more. I dug over the ground, firmed it, made a shallow trench and dropped in the seed. I covered the seed with a layer of compost.

Updates

None of the Polemonium or Heuchera seeds I sowed at the beginning of April have germinated, so I have sown some more. Decided to try them under clingfilm this time.

Only a couple of Coleus have germinated, so I sowed some more of those as well.

I sowed some seed from the Winter Cherry berries I collected in the winter. I was surprised how many seeds there were inside.

Five Gaillardia seedlings have appeared.
