This is the batch I planted on 17 April - one plant seems to be dying.

Spinach update

There are about 5 small spinach seedlings growing from the sowing I did on 11 May - I probably should have sowed more seed.

I dug over the soil, firmed it, created a shallow trench, dropped in the seed, then covered with a layer of compost.
