Divided this hosta a couple of days ago.

Coleus seedlings potted up

Yesterday I potted up 40 coleus seedlings (sown on 16 March).

Courgette update, and Spinach Beet sown.

One of the courgettes in the cloche has died and the other isn't looking too good. I therefore sowed a couple more seed. Hopefully by the time they've germinated the weather will be warm enough to plant them out without the cloche.

I uncovered the plants for a while as it was quite warm today. One courgette looks a bit dodgy.

These are the armeria gown from seed sown last July.

Both batches of seeds were saved from last year's plants.

I planted 3 rows of 5 spuds in the greenhouse bed and, because that left only 10 spuds, 4 rows in the Wisteria bed containing 2, 3, 2, 3 spuds.

More seed potatoes bought

These will be used for the second planting in the summer.

Sweet William, Pennisetum and Rudbeckia sown

Only a couple of the sweet william sown on  19 March have germinated, and none of the rudbeckia sown the same day have come up (all of which were seeds saved from last year), so  I've sown some more. I also sowed some pennisetum seed that I saved when I cut the pennisetum back on 15 March - no new growth showing yet).
