Wallflower, Marigold and Poppy sown

I sowed the poppies in a circle around the perimeter of the pot - the idea is I will sow some more, inside the outer circle, to prolong the flowering period.

As I'm running out of available trays I potted some of the sweet williams (sown on 05 April) 'four-to-a-pot'.

Hardening off

Today is the first day of hardening off the tomatoes. It's been a cold spring, but the temperature is up a bit today and is supposed to continue to rise as the week progresses. Also enjoying the sun are the coleus seedlings, but they have been out during the day for a while.

Yucca potted on

I put the yucca I bought in March 2013 into a bigger pot. While out of the old pot I cut off the dead leaves. When I did all this I wore safety goggles because I had to get near to the plant and didn't want to get stuck in the eye by one of the sharp leaves. There's some interesting knobules developing around the plant.
