I was reinforcing my anti-fox measures at the bottom of the garden today when I found my old amphibian friend from 2 years ago. I was delighted to see that he had survived 2 harsh winters and this year's dry spring. However, I took the opportunity to put him in a bucket, as I had seen him a couple of times since my last post about him, and I was concerned that I might injure him when digging.
After I had finished working in the garden, I popped him in a plastic bag and carried him to the park, where I released him at the edge of a pond.
